Like a musical score, the golf courses at McGuire's Resort came in three movements:

The first nine holes were designed and readied for play in 1959 …

The second nine, in 1970 …

and the third nine in 1980.

Bruce Matthews, Sr. was our original architect. Mr. Matthews took advantage of the natural terrain – and gorgeous spruce trees – to design a course that resides comfortable in its natural surroundings.

Later additions and enhancements came at the hand of Mark DeVries. In 1986 Mark DeVries consults on modernization of golf facility.
