For those of you who prefer your summer getaways more on the “wet and wild” side, McGuire's Resort is in close proximity to some great family beaches.

Kenwood Park, on Lake Cadillac, features a shallow water beach with a large kid's playground.  There is a lifeguard on duty during the summer. There's even a Frisbee golf course on grounds. 

Mitchell State Park has a nice kid's playground, with grills and covered picnic tables for family feasting and fun. Mitchell State park requires a state park sticker, or simply pay a daily user's fee.
