Experience a true Nordic skiing adventure at the glacier-sculptured hills of McGuire's cross-country ski trails (10km).The trail is professionally groomed on a regular basis, ensuring guests the most favorable conditions possible.
McGuire's Ski Shop specializes in Leki brand poles with aluminum shafts and Karhu skis. Karhu uses advanced technology to create skis that have shorter length, ample width and sure grip, making both first-time and experienced skiers feel right at home on the trail. The versatile design works well on both groomed trails and off the beaten path. Use your own gear or rent ours when you glide through one of many of the area's trails, including the Mackenzie Trail in the Huron-Manistee National Forest, located just past Caberfae Peaks, or on the popular Cadillac Pathway, weaving along the Clam River.
If you'd rather break trail, you can also rent snowshoes made of lightweight aircraft aluminum. These allow you to take longer excursions without experiencing the muscle stress of traditional snowshoe equipment. Children's sizes are available.

McGuire's Resort features 10km of groomed trails. Ski trail fees are free of charge for registered guests and $5 per day for visitors. Trail fees are collected at the Ski Shop. Snowshoe trails are always free of charge.
Cross-Country Ski/Snowshoe Lessons 45-minute group ski and snowshoe lessons are available by advance appointment. Call to make reservations at Guest Services (800.632.7302) Equipment rental is extra. Lessons are non-refundable.
McGuire's Resort is just 20 minutes from Caberfae Peaks and 40 minutes from Crystal Mountain. $10.00 Off Vouchers for Lift Tickets at Caberfae Peaks are available to all of our guests.

this elevation, you'll enjoy spectacular views even from the middle of the slopes! Six operational lifts include two rope tows: 31 runs with 33% beginner, 31% intermediate and 36% advanced. Night skiing is seven days a week on ten lighted slopes. Complete ski rental – Alpine, Nordic, snowboards, boots, poles and shaped skis.

Sleigh Rides are available Saturday Nights from 7pm until 9pm (January and February depending on weather conditions). Pre-registration is required.
